Hot Cookbook Publishing Trend – Celebrity Cookbooks

Celebrities are the secret ingredient to selling more cookbooks.

Take a walk down the cooking aisle of your local bookstore and you might find it surprising the number of celebrities posing for the covers.  Yes, some of these people may own restaurants or know how to eat right, but does that really make them expert cooks – expert enough to write a book about it? Someone thought it did and someone is making bank!

Celebrity cookbooks are becoming quite a trend.  (Check the list of recently published books below.)   So, is the new secret cookbook selling ingredient adding a big celebrity or really any celebrity?  If so, it seems to be working!
